July 8 – July 14   

July 14, 8:00 AM, Vandalism, Campus     Irvine Valley College Police was contacted by a college employee regarding vandalism on campus.  College Police discovered vandalism to trees, gravel that appeared to be kicked onto the roadway and sidewalk, a cement trashcan that was knocked over, and benches that were overturned near the tennis courts. The damage costs are not known at this time.  No suspect(s) were seen or reported.  Report taken.

July 13, 1:13 PM, Hit and Run, Lot 4     A student returned to their vehicle to find damage to the bumper of the vehicle.  No suspect(s) were seen or reported. Report taken.

July 11, 11:14 AM, Attempt Burglary A229    An unknown suspect(s) attempted to pry open the door at this location. It has not been determined what type of tool was used at this time.  Successful entry was not made. Report taken.  
July 11, 11:00 AM, Petty Theft, A211  Irvine Valley College Police was contacted by an instructor regarding her missing purse.  The purse was left unattended in an unlocked office. Later that evening the purse was located with some of its contents missing. Report taken. 
July 11, 9:55 AM, Petty Theft, Lot 10     A student returned to her vehicle to later find her catalytic converter stolen.  No suspect(s) were seen or reported. Report taken.
