October 24 – October 30, 2010

  • October 26, Grand Theft, B300. Victim reported that she left her laptop computer on a desk during a break. When she returned to the desk, the computer was missing. No witnesses were located. Report taken. RECLASSIFIED-UNFOUNDED
  • October 26, Petty Theft, PE160. Three victims reported that personal property was taken from their locked PE lockers. No witnesses were located. Report taken.
  • October 25, Petty Theft, A300. Victim reported that she parked and locked her bicycle to a light post between A300 and BSTIC. When he returned to the location, her bicycle was missing. No witnesses were located. Report taken.

October 17 – October 23, 2010

  • ​October 21, Petty Theft, Lot 9. Victim reported that he parked his motorcycle in parking lot 9, and secured his helmet with a locking device to the motorcycle. When he returned to his motorcycle, an unknown suspect had cut the chin strap from the locking device and took the helmet. No witnesses were located. Report taken.
  • October 21, Medical Aid, SSC. Campus police responded to the Student Health Center following a call for medical aid assistance. The SHC Nurse requested OCFA paramedics for an employee who was experiencing hypertension. The victim was examined and transported to a local hospital. Report taken.
  • October 19, Non-Injury Traffic Collision, Perimeter Rd. Vehicle #1 exited parking lot #5, without right-of-way or insuring that it was safe to do so, causing a collision with vehicle #2 that was southbound on the perimeter road. No injuries were reported. Report taken.
  • October 18, Medical Aid, A400. Campus police responded to report of a student suffering chest pain in the A400 building. Upon police arrival at the scene, the victim requested medical assistance. OCFA paramedics were contacted and responded to the location. The victim was treated and transported to a local hospital. Report taken.

October 10 – October 16, 2010

October 11, Misdemeanor Hit & Run, Lot 5. An unoccupied legally parked vehicle sustained minor damage when it was struck on the driver's side rear quarter panel by an unidentified vehicle driven by an unidentified driver. No witnesses could be located. Report taken.

October 3 – October 9, 2010

October 4, Injury Traffic Collision, Lot 1. Vehicle #1, while backing out of a parking stall in Lot #1, collided with vehicle #2, which was traveling in a driving lane within parking lot. The driver of vehicle #1 complained of pain in her neck, shoulders and back. Paramedics were called and responded to the location. The driver of vehicle #1 refused transport by the paramedics. Report taken

September 26 – October 2, 2010

  • September 30, Injury Traffic Collision, Lot 5. Vehicle #1, while backing out of a parking stall, collided with the right front passenger door of vehicle #2, as a passenger was exiting the right front passenger door of vehicle #2. The impact caused the door to strike the passenger's right leg, leaving minor injuries. Report taken.
  • September 29, Petty Theft, Librar.y. Victim reported that she left her backpack in a drawer behind the front desk in the Library where she works. After work, she retrieved her backpack and discovered two books missing. Report taken.
  • September 29, Violation of Restraining Order, A400. Campus police was contacted by a female student who reported that a male student on was campus in violation of a restraining order. In follow-up, police located the male and confirmed he was in violation of the order. The male was ordered to leave the campus pending further action. Report taken.
  • September 29, Possession of Alcohol, SSC. Campus police responding to a report of found property (alcohol) in the Student Services Center, located the student owner and determined that she was under the influence of alcohol. The student was picked-up and taken home. Report taken.
  • September 28, Petty Theft, Library. Victim reported that he left his iPhone on a chair outside the Student Affairs Office in the Student Services Center. When he returned to get the phone, it was missing. Report taken.
  • September 27, Misdemeanor Hit & Run, Lot 4. A Facilities grounds person contacted campus police to report a damaged tree. Upon arrival of police officers at the location, the grounds person stated that he heard the sound of a collision and then observed a person get out their, inspect the rear of his car, and then hurried leave the area. The grounds then pointed out damage to the tree caused by the collision. No witnesses could be located. Report taken.
